Disintegration Tester is a microprocessor controlled unit consisting three batches of six tubes in three basket assembly with a temperature range of ambient to 45ºC and automatic time range of 1 to 900 min. It is equipped with a cabinet, control system, electrical system, water bath system, transmission system and sensor. Also features 55 mm basket lifting amplitude, 30 to 32 times per minute nacelle back and forth frequency and 1000 ml flat bottomed beaker capacity. The unit has auto testing, auto diagnose and auto alarm system with LED screen to display preset and real data alternately in time. used to assess the disintegration time of tablets and capsules. The disintegration time is the period it takes for a solid dosage form to break down or disintegrate into smaller particles when exposed to a specified liquid medium. The apparatus consists of a set of tubes or baskets, each holding a single tablet or capsule.The apparatus typically includes a water bath or other suitable medium, which maintains the spefied temperature during the test.
